Korean Radio Recorder App
The Korean Radios App stopped working for me, not sure why ~ it just kept beeping and not finding a signal for the station I was listening to, so I found this Korean Radio Recorder app (free). I usually just listen to KPOP @ Big B Radio and saved that station as my Favourite. I do wish it listed the song and artist that is playing like the other app, but it works.

Korean Beacon
This website was posted by someone I know on one of my forums. I looked around the website a bit, and found their about section link on the bottom of their website.
There are sections on music, sports, food, culture, etc.

Korean T-Shirts from BaboShirts
So I try not to post websites I haven’t tried, but my friend Elissa’s friend got her a shirt from this site for her birthday. It was a “delicious” t-shirt (맛있다).
They don’t seem to have a huge selection, but I like the bear (aigo), and the world map in hangeul.
There is a FAQ page, and they accept PayPal, so let me know if you get a shirt from them ^^
Chat Text to Korea with Kakao
Kakao is apparently pretty popular in Korea, I guess it’s like a mobile AIM, a couple of my Korean friends told me about it.
Download the app, sign in with your mobile phone number. They send you a text with a code and then you enter the code to associate your phone with your Kakao ID. The code came within an hour for me, I think I had to resend it when I was setting up my husbands.
Once you are set up, I think it searches to see if you have any friends using Kakao based on the phone numbers in your phone book. It was nice to see some of my family members using it already, so it’s nice to be able to talk where US messenger services aren’t available or as widely known.
Adding a Korean Keyboard on iPhone
It’s really easy to add a Korean character keyboard to your iPhone.
Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Select Korean
you can also get there by going to Settings > General > International > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Select Korean, but the top method is the most direct.
After adding the keyboard, when you go to type something, just select the button on the keyboard that looks like a globe/world symbol. This will switch the keyboard view
Korean Dramas on Crunchyroll
Website:
Crunchyroll has movies, anime, and drama, but I think all their Korean shows are Dramas. They do have commercials often (about every 7 minutes), but there is a paid version without commercials I think. You can find dramas in alphabetical order at:
Smartphone App:
You can also find dramas with their App which can be found in the iPhone Apple Store and the Android store. You do Not need a log in.
In the App, go to Drama > By Genre: Korean

The Kitchen Wench – Korean Cooking
My friend Elissa told me about this website. Ellie Won was born in South Korea and immigrated to Australia and this blog site is full of her cooking recipes, a lot of which are Korean ^^

yKAN (Young Korean American Network), NY
According to their website, yKAN’s mission is to “Elevate Korean-American professionals by fostering educational programs, community service, and networking opportunities.”
I haven’t looked too much into this group mostly because I think most of their events are in New York, but I like to keep up with what they are doing. I know the last Korean princess spoke at one of their events, which sounded interesting and was something I would have gone to if I had had the chance.
